Draft 2018 – 2027 Financial Plan and Ten Year Capital Plan Recommended Motion: THAT Council approve the amended capital and operating carry forward projects; and THAT Council give second reading as amended and third reading to the “City of West Kelowna Financial Plan Bylaw No. 0247, 2018” with the tax rate increase set at 2.18%.
DVP 18-01, Development Variance Permit, 1026 Avondale Place Recommended Motion THAT Council support the issuance of a Development Variance Permit (DVP 18-01) for 1026 Avondale Place to vary Zoning Bylaw No. 0154 S.3.7.1(e) and S.10.4.5(f).2 to increase the maximum floor area of accessory structures on the property from 100m² to 192m² and to increase the permitted height from 5.0 metres to 6.0 metres in accordance with the attached permit.
Urgent Care Centre for the Greater Westside Recommended Motion: THAT Council agree to pursue an Urgent Care Centre to be constructed in West Kelowna on land owned by Interior Health Authority (IHA); and THAT Council authorize the Mayor to write a letter asking for support from the District of Peachland, Westbank First Nation, and the Director of the Regional District of Central Okanagan’s (RDCO) West Kelectoral Area, that an Urgent Care Centre be constructed in West Kelowna.
LL 18-01, Liquor License and Lounge Endorsement Request, 2405 Main Street Recommended Motion THAT Council provide a recommendation of support to the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch for the proposed Lounge Endorsement (LL 18-01) at Kind Brewing in accordance with the information contained in this report.
2018 Road Rehabilitation Construction Tender Award Recommended Motion: THAT Council award the tender for the 2018 Road Rehabilitation Construction Project Core and 2017 Flood Recovery to Westlake Paving and Aggregate Limited for $1,245,241.47 excluding GST.
Arterial Road 20 Year Improvement Priorities Recommended Motion: THAT Council direct staff to update the 10 Year Capital Plan based on the 20 Year Arterial Road Development Cost Charges Priorities in Appendix A.
