9.2.4 Sign Bylaw No. 0183, 2016 Recommended Motion: THAT Council adopt City of West Kelowna Sign Bylaw No. 0183, 2016; THAT Council adopt City of West Kelowna Ticket Information Utilization Amendment Bylaw No. 0095.28, 2016; and THAT Council adopt Bylaw Notice Enforcement Amendment Bylaw No. 0093.31, 2016.
DP 15-08 Hillside Development Permit with Variance, 1014 Aurora Heights Recommended Motion: THAT Council approve a Hillside Development Permit (File: DP 15-08) to allow the construction of a one-storey single detached house (with underground garage) and roundabout driveway and swimming pool located at 1014 Aurora Heights (Strata Lot 17, DLs 1117 & 4662, ODYD, Strata Plan KAS3556) subject to the conditions outlined in the attached Permit; and THAT Council support a variance to the maximum building height, which is typically 9.0 metres to a maximum of three storeys, to allow a onestorey house to be constructed with a building platform of 594.0 metres geodetic elevation and in general accordance with the site section drawings as illustrated on the Site Plan, drawing no. DP-01, dated March 14, 2016; and THAT Council support a request to amend the boundary of geotechnical covenant (KB33664) to accommodate the proposed building envelope as illustrated on the Site Plan, drawing no. DP-01, dated March 14, 2016; and THAT issuance of the Development Permit be withheld pending: ???? Registration of a modified Section 219 no build/no disturb covenant; ???? Receipt of landscape and remediation security in the amount of $15,262.25; and THAT if the Development Permit has not been issued within one year from the date of approval, the Permit shall be deemed to have been refused and the file closed.
DVP 16-08, Development Variance Permit, 2708 Olalla Road Recommended Motion: THAT Council authorize the issuance of a Development Variance Permit (DVP 16-08) for 2708 Olalla Road (Lot 158, DL 2689, ODYD, District Plan 5381) to vary Zoning Bylaw No. 0154 Section 3.7.1(d) and Section 13.2.5(e).3 to reduce the interior side parcel setback for two accessory structures over 2.0 m high, from 3.0 m to 0.0 m in accordance with the attached Development Variance permit (Attachment 1).
RDCO Referral – Exclusion from the Agricultural Land Reserve to Facilitate Expansion of Kelowna International Airport Recommended Motion: THAT Council support the removal of the subject lands from the Agricultural Land Reserve to facilitate an expansion of Kelowna International Airport.
